Deborah Armstrong:  

.Since graduation, life has had many changes. I graduated from Lamar University. I moved to Houston where I married and had my wonderful son Drue. I was a teacher for 20 years. I then moved to Katy, Texas where I enjoyed being involved in politics, teaching and traveling internationally. I used this opportunity to chair a special week of events at my son's elementary school. It was the year Houston was hosting the International Economic Summit, so with the help of several dedicated friends we spent an entire year planning an International Event involving parents, teachers, students and the community for my son's school. It was spectacular! It was a year of giving back to my son, hours I gave to other people's children as a teacher. We later made a very brave move to Ouray, Colorado, a town of only 550 people at 7.200 feet. It was there I persued my dream of owning and managing a Bed and Breakfast. It was called Almost Heaven.
