She is Founder and CEO of a Non-Profit Organization- Augusta Area Cultural Society, Youth Empowerment Organization, which started in 1985. Deborah served as a CASA for abused and misplaced children in Richmond, Burke and Columbia Counties as well as a Sworn in Officer of the Court for these counties. She is a Credentialed State Standards Surveyor; Credentialed State Early Interventionist.

Deborah is a STATE of Georgia Credentialed Early Interventionist awarded from Georgia State University. She has organized feed the homeless projects, workshops for teens and women as well as on violence, bullying, respect appropiate manners. Deborah was named unsong hero in 2006 by a local organization; She has been recognized by two Augusta Mayors and one Governor; She is listed in Cambidge WHO'S WHO INTERNATION; Awarded the Arfrican American Legacy Award.".
