Deborah's Story

After high school, I decided to improve and reinvent myself. My braces came off and I ordered some contact lenses. A rhinoplasty followed later. I also improved my mental health by seeking therapy. I attended Dutchess Community College, then took some courses later at Marist. During college, I began working as a telephone opr. for NY Tel. I worked 7p-1a as a tel. opr. and went to college during the day. Later, I was promoted to clerk, bus. rep. and manager....finally ending my career in second level mgmt. 1973 I went to Florida with my friend, Alison, and learned how much I loved to travel. I dated frequently ...Expand for more
until I met my husband, Jim, at a baseball game in Yorktown Heights. A year later we married and have been together for 34 yrs. We could not have children, due to female problems (wish I knew that before...would have saved me money in birth control!), so we travelled and saw many places people will never see in their lifetime. We are now retired in NC. Just mins. from Sunset Beach. We love it here!! A nice place to write/live the last chapter of our lives. We hope you life has been as rich in so many ways, too. Let me know how your life is going. As we used to say, "Peace and Love" to all, Deborah Bogart Weber

Good Night everyone!!! We are so fortunate to live in this beautiful area...Sunset Beach from the pier....
"Regal Eagle" Trump has won!! I worked for his campaign during the early stages and then I became disillusioned. Now the nation will pull together!! (eagle picture taken at Fort Fisher)
Merry Christmas!!! Pet pictures with Santa to support local chapter of Pawsibility. So many people stopping by to pet my Hungarian Puli!!!! Also, enjoyed the day with Maria and Marias' pups!!!
Recent Brookgreen Gardens visit with friends...Christmas lights dripping from trees!!! Enjoy your holidays!

Crazy Ft. Apache!! This was built as a Saloon, but when we went in for a drink, there was no interior!!!! Completely gutted and dark!!???
Good Night!! I love the Calabash River....
On this beautiful day, please pray for Judy and Jim's sweet doggie, 'Cookie". She will have surgery today and we pray she will recover happy and healthy. Blessings to Cookie!
Marsha and I were waiting for our Waccamaw Boat River tour, when we heard some screeching "jungle" type noises. We started to look around and suddenly found a Peacock about 25-30 ft. up a tree. I never saw a Peacock up in
"Friends"
Hey Marilyn R. I turned the corner and there sat a "Tin Man" in a lovely garden!?? Love the quirks and turns at Ft. Apache.
Last night I snapped a picture of a Blue Heron on a neighbor's rooftop. He looked so regal until I saw him poop on the house!!
I guess this just might be the only picture we see in the sky today. I hope not for everyone's plans.
Warrior in Life?
I think this is right! But if you are not a good person, I can't be responsible for disliking your attitude...
This area is so beautiful that we just can't leave. I love the beach, Calabash Lake, our boat on the Intracoastal.. I hope all of our friends are safe, but we don't want to leave here...Blessings to everyone...be safe...
This is the most beautiful place to live....peaceful..

Joshua 7:12 "I will not be with you anymore unless you destroy whatever among you is devoted to destruction." This seems an impossible task. On earth, forever, the
Merry Christmas to all!!! One of the cutest holiday cakes I have seen. A pond with skaters, Christmas trees, and other cuties!
