Deborah's Story
I am a single mom and I absolutely love being a mom. If I had known how much I would enjoy motherhood, I'd have started earlier and had more! My son, who just turned 10, is the best thing that ever happened to me and he is the light in my life. He is very energetic and smart and loving. I also have a 19 year old stepdaugher whom I adore and I couldn't love her more if she were my own. We've been through a lot of rough times together and have been there for each other and I am so proud of her for her strength and courage. She is a beautiful girl inside and out.

and have done so for the last 26 years! My initial goal was to be a police officer so I went to school for criminal justice, but I realized I lacked the assertiveness necessary to be successful in that career, so I tweaked my choice a little and here I am and here I'll stay. I've toyed with the thought of law school, but would rather spend my time enjoying my son while he's young. Maybe someday.
I have a very loud yet loving family. We're extremely close and get together quite a bit. We always end up in tears at some point when we're together, but its usually from laughing so damn hard!
