Deborah's Story

Life I have been living in South Carolina now for almost 11 years. I love it down here, but believe it or not I really miss the snow! I have 2 wonderful boys that I live and breathe for. Jon turned 19 Oct. 2007 and Cody turned 15 Feb. 2008. They are athletically superior in every sport available. I divorced in June 1999 and it was the best thing I could have ever done. We live on 3 acres of beautifully wooded property on Clermont Lake. If your ever in South Carolina, look us up and we will get together for a fish fry...lol. I miss many of my old friends very much!! If your not registered and can not email me PLEASE write me 163 Clermont Lake Drive, Lexington 29073. I would love to catch up on old times! School High School was a wonderful memory, although to do it over with today's knowledge would change alot!! I will never forget Ms. Walker, she made it the most memorable for me. Mr. Thorburn and his discrimination of cheerleaders...lol. Of course who could forget Mr. Manville..."Hot Showers". Most of all I miss all the wonderful friends I made through the years. Many moved on with military husbands after school and I have lost touch with most. If any of you are reading this please write and let me know how your doing and what you have done with your lives. Prayers & Wishes to all!! Workplace I am degreed in medical business and worked with those skills at Baptist Hospital for about 2 years. When our division was closed, I decided to ...Expand for more
take my most rewarding skill and turn it into my success. Thus, Debbie's Daycare, now registered as "Bratz-R-Us" was born. There is no greater feeling in the world than to realize that you have such an influence on our future leaders. Children are our future and if they are not guided in the right direction in life than where are any of our lives headed? I am currently working on getting my teaching degree, South Carolina is in dire need for good teachers. I have no plans of giving up the daycare however. My plans are much bigger! I plan to expand to teaching pre-school, tutoring, and a need I find most important to school & guide those whom have been deemed unruley & unteachable by their districts. I care for many teens now that have many problems in life and understanding it, it just takes someone with the time and child-like frame of mind to guide these children. My parents have even come to a point where they will call me during off hours to talk to their children for they don't seem to be able to calm them. I have always had a nack for working with these children in a way they understand, appreciate, and respect. The first step in guidence is to first listen and understand what you are dealing with before you act upon it. Don't preach, communicate! Wow, is that ever an old history lesson. All of the previous was many years ago. No longer a teacher because health took a turn for the worse, can't stand South Carolina, and work in Hospice.
