I grew up in Taylor, MI. on Birch St. beg. 7-59, however was born in Cookeville, TN.. Schools I attended were Edgewood Elem. Pine Elem., Brake Jr High (where became friends with Bill & started "Going Steady" at end of 9th gr) then on to T.C. where Bill & I kept breaking up & getting back tog. Entire Senior yr, broke up until 2 wks b4 Prom & have been tog.ever since. Married on 7-23-71. Had Ectopic Preg. in Sept of 71. Still had 3 kids, Sean 72, Shellie 74, & Tracy 77. Fav. music was Motown, Doo Wop, Country and groups that harmonized real good.Stations were WCHB and WKNR.. Fav. Authors: James Patterson, Lee Child, Kathy Reichs, John Sanford,Janet Evanovich.and others. Movies I like include John Wayne and most of movies on TCM, made fm 40's and on. Comedies and Historical as well. TV shows now are NCIS, Bones, Blue Bloods, Rizzoli and Isles, and Major Crimes. May be others, but these are 1st that come to mind. One of my favorite quotes is: "Keep Laughin & Keep Prayin ! " We have been "Married 44 yrs 7-15. 8 gr-kids, as of 7-13-15, and there won't be anymore, 4 of each, ages from 5 yrs to 22 yrs in Jan. So very PROUD of them ALL!. Most are athletic, Ashley 16, Soccer & Track, Zach 17, Track. Hailey 15, was a cheerleader, can't now due 2 health issues. Madison 12, Cheerleader. Top of pyramid! , Meagan 16, Softball, Fast Pitch, Travel Team. Nathan 15 & Zach are really into computers, & not just games. Cody is 5 and starting Kindergarten this fall and then Tyler, will be 22 in Jan. and goes to Eastern to become a Nurse Anesthetist, and then, on to an "Anesthetist". Finished 1 yr. college in 12th gr and now at Eastern for 3 yrs. He's received ALL "A"s for majority of school, received Scholarships due to grades and has been on Dean's List since he went to Eastern for ALL Semesters. I had 3 Grand Maul Seizures, 11-97,taken to Heritage and flown to U of M. They were caused by eruption of 3 large aneurysms in frontal lobe of Brain. Waited 3 days for draining of fluid and then operation. Opened my skull on right side of head & clipped them (non ferrous metal), and then put me back together with staples. Family was made to say goodbyes at Heritage when I was able to talk. Told I had 25% chance of living. Two and half weeks later, was released day before Thanksgiving. Lots to be thankful for. Dr McGillicutty and his team were Angels from God. Funny on day of surgery, he came in and asked how I slept last nite. I told him fine, but I WANT to know how YOU slept since you're going to be in my brain today!! He laughed and laughed and said, I believe you'll be fine Mrs. Earl. I'll never forget it. Due to force of bleed I was blinded in left eye and in Jan had to go to Kellogg Eye Ctr so they could take out the bloody vitreous humor, and replace with fresh. I was a mess to look at but I was alive and thank God each day. I made my entire family go crazy and I still apologize for it. In Dec 2013, Bill was diagnosed with Cancer. Gave him both Chemo and Radiation and he worked for the most part during this! Then surgery on 4-17-14. Friends Kath, Stan and wife, and Bill's sis Kris, and ALL our kids of course. They created a new Esophagus from his stomach tissue and it's been HELL ever since for him. He was released and we brought him home. Med supplies were delivered and he had nurse visit ea wk. Had tube feedings and his meds were crushed and inserted in his J Tube. Shellie, our Daughter had to put 1/4 in. tape in his neck slit to allow it to heal. I shake too much and couldn't do it. Sean lives with us presently and he as well as Shellie (a school bus driver) and Tracy both live real close by. Thank you GOD!!! Poor Bi...Expand for more
