Life
Joined the Navy after HS, my first duty was with the Marine Corps. Saw what war really does to our fighting men...war is UGLY, sometimes unavoidable but ugly. Second duty station was back to N.O. as a recruiter. Borrrriiinnnggg. Left the military after 7 years, and went into the steel biz, lotsa fun, lotsa money, married. NO fun, and he cost me a lot of money. Worth every penny I paid to get rid of him! Went to the Carribbean for a few years to write the Great American Novel, wound up writing articles for sports magazines instead. Found my next and LAST husband. Costly little devil as well! Moved to the MidWest, and got into radio station ownership. Owned station...Expand for more
s in Michigan (his, really) Wisconsin and Iowa, land of corn, cows, soybeans and pigs of all kinds. The winters damn near killed me. Two wonderful daughters, now 12 and 13, people think I'm their granny. Sold the stations after we founded our web based buisness, buysellradio online Inc. Moved to Cape Coral Florida and I am HOME! Hubby 61 and semi-retired, and kids do well in school. We custom built the home office that looks out over the water and swimming pool. The sail boat, Jelly Bean, sits out there, ready for a spin in the Gulf anytime. My ideal vacation is sun, sand and water with NO cell phone or laptop to distract me from relaxing. Wonder when THAT will happen!?
