Deborah's Story

After high school, I attended Monroe Community College and received my Associate's Degree. I transfered to Eastern Michigan University and finished my Bachelor of Music Education there in December of 1978. I did a LOT of subbing in Monroe County plus several long term subbing jobs. Reservation ('81-'82). I returned to EMU and finished up a Master's Degree in Music. I landed my current teaching position in the Fall of 1985 - teaching Music grades K-5 for the Waterford Public School District in Waterford, MI. I got married along the way and have one daughter (21) named Hannah. We currently live in Ann Arbor but all on my famiily still live in Dundee.
