Life
HI, Everyone,
I'm married for 34 years. I live in central Texas and work at an education lab on research, development, and dissemination. I love to luxuriate at home on the weekends, since my job requires a great deal of travel. I speak at national afterschool conferences and host training events with my colleagues. I love to ruminate about my days in Temple where I loved my teaching job. I made so many close friends in the young people I was privileged to teach. Hi, Everyone,
Since I wrote this first entry, everything in my life has changed. I got my doctorate from UT in 2003, moved to Washington for a job with the Dept of Defense, came back to Georgetown to take care of my husband who was gravely ill. I've been widowed since December 2013. Now I am jobless and figuring out how to be on my own after nearly 42 years of marriage. I would love to reconnect with old friends. Send me a friend request!
