Deborah's Story
I am currently Married and living in Dothan. I have 2 very beautiful daughters Blayre and JoAnna. I recently had my third child a boy. His name is Alex and just turned 9 months old. My Daughters both attend Providence Christian School and are doing very well. Blayre has been a JV cheerleader for 2 years and will be trying out for varsity in 2 weeks. She is also an Alabama Student Ambassadore. Blayre loves Hunting, pageants and Cheerleading. She stays busy.....she will be leaving for Washington D.C. Monday morning for a week. I will miss her!! JoAnna has an amazing personality just very outgoing. She also enjoys competing in pageants, Hunting and gymnastics. She will hopefully do as well in Cheerleading as her sister. She will try out next year. She is also a Junior Cotillian. Blayre and JoAnna both lost their father(Mike Howard from Ashford) to suicide in 2003. We were married for 9 years and divorced in 2000. After years of cheating and being left alone I agreed to the divorce. I guess the grass wasn't so green on the other side because he decided he wanted me back 3 years later. s love and miss him inspite of all the heartache. He was a great guy he just didn't know how bad he hurt me....I wish he had made the choice to live, his girls miss him so much it really hurts me to see it every day. I know they will be ok but it doesn't take the pain away.
I am remarried to a great guy that would do anything for me and my kids. They are crazy about him and his family. His mother, grandparents, aunts and sister are at every birthday, Pageant, game etc...that my kids have. We are blessed to have them. I am finally really happy and my kids are too.
As for me I am a stay-at-home mom. I am working om my second degree Nursing/Radiology I am half way there. I worked as a Surgical tech with a plastic surgeon in Dothan and I really loved it. He retired and I decided to go back and finish what I started.
It is really late now like 1:30am so I hope I haven't bored you to death but it really is a lot to squeeze in. Well I hear Alex waking up for his midnight bottle lol!!! Maybe I will hear from some of you soon!
