These past years have spun pass like a whirlwind and it truly doesn't seem like it has been 50 years since attending Crenshaw High. I am a widow now having loss the love of my life and have 4 wonderful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I am also blessed to have extended sons and daughters which have adopted me into their families. I love being a Mom and Grandma, it is the greatest joy in my life. I am a survivor of a brain tumor which after the surgery has left me with some memory loss, chronic migraines and visual challenges but I am persevering. Following the removal of the brain tumor I left my position as Asst./VP Branch Manager for a major mortgage banking firm and became a stay at home Mom which I have enjoyed and found very rewarding.. Life has presented its many highs and lows but I have no complaints. . I consider myself truly blessed by my Father in Heaven to still be here and to be experiencing the quality of life my doctors did not foresee.
