Deborah's Story
Hey everybody,
Well I ended up in Austin Texas. I visited here in 1989
and stayed because I found ample work here
as a potter-Yes in 1989 you couldn't swing a cat without hitting a potter, and they all needed assistants. So I stayed and did apprentice work until I built up my studio here. I've been a potter for about 25 years now and I have a small, small housekeeping business on the side.
I didn't get married until 2000 (yes, that is how long it took to find someone that would have me). Shawn, my lovely husband, is a professional musician (piano), and has recently finished his masters in legal...Expand for more
studies. He is looking for a paralegal job (to help support our giant dog family). We have a nice little house, no children, and seven dogs-Ben, Amelia, Bella, Manny, Tater, Romeo, and Daisy. We spend a lot of time walking (the dogs), working and trying not to roast in the hot, hot Texas sun. Boy do I miss the cool California nights and the beautiful Ocean. Well I never got to go to any of our reunions-so I've missed the fun of catching up-I would love to hear from you.
