Deborah's Story

Life *Update: September 2020 Darren moved back to this area 5 years ago and is currently a superintendent for a fire restoration company. He is doing really well in life. He lost his biological father last year to cancer. Darren tried many times over the years to connect with Larry always with the disappointment of rejection. Now he is gone and they can't go back. Darren has been the delight of my life. He is well respected and loved by many with an extra ordinary sense of humor. He is now a grandfather to three. Wow! Kandy runs a dental office as the front office and my oldest granddaughter Amber is studying medical coding. Me? I retired two years ago and travel with friends. We are going to France, Greece, Egypt and Italy next spring and then cruise the Mediterranean cant wait! I'll be gone a couple of months. I have friends that live in Paris where we will base out of while in Europe. End of update.... I have 2 children, one boy, one girl, I have 3 grand children 2 girls, 1 boy. Darren lives in Montana and works building multi-million dollar homes. Kandy is working as an RDA here in Fair Oaks. My father passed away in March at the age of almost 82. My mom passed away in 2013. I spend every spare minute I have with my grandchildren that live here locally. Amber is 21, Debbie is 16 and Dalton is 18. They are the light of my life. I take them as much as they will go with me. They are frequently here all weekend. They have their slumber parties here, talk on the phone all night and build forts in the living room. (things I guess they can't do at ...Expand for more
home). My life has been full and happy. I have done well in business and investments. I finished my BS degree with a double major in 2010. I have earned many dear friends along the way. I've realized how very short life is. I have seen many friends lose their lives mostly from car accidents here in the Sac region. I hold dear to my heart my relationship with God and hope all the Bible says is true and right. Then this life would be worth it. Regrets.....Yes. Life is full of them. But the good outweighs the bad. Lessons always come from the most challenging times. Remember, integrity is what you do when no one is looking. You must stand for something or you'll stand for nothing at all. Whether you are right or wrong doesn't matter. It's what you believe that matters most. You are what you think you are. Don't use Johnny as a scape goat when you manage people and don't let others. He will be what you expect and what you allow others to expect. Respect yourself. Love yourself, after all God loves you and he is pretty important. If you make mistakes even major ones, just learn from them and try to do better. Remember as a person thinkith in his heart, so is he. Just because you have the power to discipline doesn't always mean you should. You can always resort to it later. Love to all!!!! Update:: June 2010 Just graduated from California State University Sacramento with my BS in Business Administration with a major in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior. I start a new job with PG&E as a customer service business analyst in July. I can't wait!
