Deborah's Story
Life
During my years coaching boys basketball I was very fortunate to have a major motion picture made about me and my team. The movie is called Sunset Park and it is on cable and at Blockbuster. Truthfully, the movie is about 60% accurate. All the personal stories are totally made up. If the writer had only told the truth the movie could have been much better.
In 1988 I met the man I am still with and we have an 8 year old son. I am having so much fun reliving my childhood with Dane. We travel all the time and I love going to Disney movies and Disneyworld. My plan for Dane is that he plays basketball at Duke and then takes over Derek Jeter's job with the Yankees (ha,ha). This way Dane will be able to take care of me in my old age.

etic director and I am a work-a-holic.
School
I only attended Fort Hamilton my senior year. After attending McKinley JHS my family moved to NJ for 2 years finally moving back.
In Fort Hamilton I mostly hung out with Rene Meberg, Mike Toth, Artie Jacobsen and Pat Gorman. I knew I wanted to be a physical education teacher so I spent a lot of time in the gym.
College
After graduation from Brooklyn College, I attended New York University graduate school. After graduation I attended CSI for my 2nd masters in Supervision and Administration.
Workplace
I taught physical education and coached for 14 years in Brooklyn. In 1993 I became an assistant principal of physical education in Manhattan. Currently, I am an assistant principal and an athletic director in Staten Island.
