Deborah's Story
I went to SWOSU and graduated in 1984 and two months later got married to my husband who at the time was in the military. My dad was the orthodontist in Altus from 1976 until his retirement in 1992. In 1985 we were stationed in Germany in 1985 and had two kids while we were there our son, Joseph in 1986 and daughter, Monika in 1987. Then we moved to New Mexico in 1988 and had a daughter there named Aimee in 1990. While in New Mexico I did manage to come to our 10 year reunion which I had a blast. In 1993 we moved to South Carolina and were there in until my husbands retirement in 2004. While there I worked for a law firm in Columbia, SC for 6 years. In July 2004 we moved to Spokane, Washington. and will be joining the Air Force and then proceeding to finish his degree in Economics with a minor in Accounting, Monika is 22 in college majoring in Elementary Education, Aimee is 19 and a senior in high school and in marching band. Aimee is wanting to major in Criminal Justice so that she can be a police officer. I am now working at Target in Spokane Valley, Washington and my husband is currently unemployed due to lack of work. Hopefully he will be going back to work within the next few weeks as an electrician for planes. I sure do miss Oklahoma and the weather there and wishing that I could visit more often. My parents, Joe and Dee Miller and sister, Pam Miller Heinen and her husband now live in Edmond. Pam has two boys one will be a Junior and the other is in 8th Grade.
