Life
Let me cut to the chase....got married 6 mos. after H.S. it lasted 14 years, 2 kids son now 35, daughter now 31, got married again right away, lasted almost 20 years, a daughter now 21. Just divorced after almost 3 year separation. Same job working for NY State 33 1/2 years, manage group home for adult mentally challenged men, retiring in August. Past Vol. EMT, and ambulance Corp Captain, current Vol. Firefighter, also marched with a drum corps for 15 or more years, stopped that in 1999, bum knees. After being single for a year and a half, now involved. Planning a move to Florida in October, to start the next chapter in my life. Update.....have now retired and live in Clearwater Fla. Love it here.
Further update, after being in Florida for almost 4 years, I have married again, and moved to St. Petersburg Fl. I have also gone to work for Goodwill Industries as a Skills Trainer, teaching job skills to mentally challenged adults. Have 3 grandsons ages 10, 7, and 2. Love my life!
Moving on, it is now 2019, I retired for a 2nd time Sept of 2014, and went back to work 16 months later at the same job, but part time.. Within a year and a half it morphed into full time again with additional responsibilities. I love my job, and guess I am not quite ready to give it up! I'm saying...2 more years......
