It was another wonderful Gathering. The elements were kind to us and the cooler temps made the days absolutely refreshing, now the nights got nippy. The first night temps dipped into the upper forties. Snuggling deep down in the sleeping bag and wearing a heavy hood coat and the only thing allowed to brave the cold was the tip of my nose. Remember living in Florida, your blood thins and 40 degrees to most of you in the mid west, that¿s summer. The aromas of sweet herbs and rustic oak smoke fills the air, the drummers fill our bodies with rhythms. Our senses return to a time when primitive man communed with the earth and we awaited messages from nature to guide us through our day¿s experiences. The classes we interested, Gavin Bone from Ireland gave 3 different lectures, after I attended his work shop on Chakras, I just had to attend the class on Weird and Runes and then the last class on the Triple Goddess., Gina Estevez was great, I always look forward to her classes.
