Deborah's Story
Life
I currently reside with my husband Philip and our wonderful daughter Reina and of course our family cats Smokey and Ziggy in the small town of Sierra Vista, Arizona. We have been living here for about 6 years now and own a beautiful home with a pool. Nothing extraordinary, we get up go to work and come home and spend time with little Reina.
School
In high school I absolutely loved being coached for Volleyball by Keith Leopold. He was a great instructor and good coach and I learned so much from him.
College
I finished my BS in Industral Engineering in August of 1996 from NMSU. Once I relocated to Sierra Vista, I pursed a MS in Information Systems Engineering and Graduated last year from WIU. The graduation ceremony was in Phoenix and it was so much fun and well worth the trip.
Workplace
Upon graduating from NMSU I was selected for an intership at White Sands Missile Range as a Computer...Expand for more
Engineer. My primary duties were testing Missile and Air Defense Weapon Systems such as the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) and High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) as a project engineer. I worked at WSMR for 5 years when I was offered a position here at Fort Huachuca NETCOM 9th Army Signal Command. I accepted and my husband I have been here since July of 2000. My husband elected to return to school after our move here and now is employed with an ISEC Contractor, Signal Solutions as a Security Engineer.
My job as a systems engineer is to provide direct support to the theater's under NETCOM which are located all over the globe. I just recently traveled to Taegu Korea during winter and it was quite an experience. My main area of expertise is Enterprise Managment. I have a great boss and love working here.
Military
None to speak of, I only support our soliders as a civilian.
