Deborah's Story
I am currently living in Long Beach, CA for at least two years working on a second Masters Degree in Social Work. I still have a home in the Leschi area, and visit Seattle often. My three children and eight grandchildren live in Seattle as well as my parents, (still active), and my four brothers.
For the first time in my adult life I am not working. I have sort of semi retired into academia, I guess, after teaching at the U of W for a few years in Social Welfare.

pression work. I have travelled to many places in the world including India, China, England, France, Italy, and Mexico. I am considering working in Social Work in a non English speaking country when I complete my MSW.
For fun I ride a motorcycle. I own a Honda Shadow Aero 750. Lots of fast times!
I think about FHS often as my time and experiences there laid the foundation for my passion, exploring and understanding cultures, differences, and bridge-building. I hope to attend the 40th reunion next year.
