Deborah's Story
Hello, It's hard to recap the past 40 years since we graduated in 1971. But I'll give it a try.....
After a couple of years of college, I decided to head to Europe and ended up living there for 7 years. I worked for a clothes designer the one year I lived in London which at the time was a dream come true. I also met my ex-husband in London and we were married in Italy, where he was from, the following year. My son was born in 1976 in Italy. Unfortunately, the marriage didn't work out and my son and I returned to the Seattle area in 1980. I went back to school to concentrate on Accounting and in 1991 I was hired by Microsoft which led me to Reno, NV in 1997. I currently live in Reno and ...Expand for more
love the climate, 10 minute commute to work, Lake Tahoe, and the multitude of outdoor activities this area offers. My passion is the outdoors. My boyfriend, Bob, and I usually spend weekends hiking, back country skiing, mountain biking, snow shoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking and cycling.
My son graduated from U of W with a degree in Physics. A couple of years later he decided to change his career, went back to school and recently got his Masters in Library Science.
Life has been good to me and I'm thankful every day I have employment, family, good friends, my health and my wonderful boyfriend.
