Deborah's Story
After school, I married Steve Messer who graduated earlier from Honey Creek and we had two boys, Todd who is a sales manager for Centex Homes in Indianapolis and Andy who works for a Security company in Bradenton, Fla. We divorced in 1975 and I re-married in 1978 to Bob White. We had three boys, Travis who manages a Super Target in Fort Myers, Robbie who is studying at IU to become a lawyer and Michael, my baby at 21, who is in the Air Guards and going to IUPUI. fteen grandchildren - never a dull moment!! I was fortunate enought to stay home to raise my family while my husband traveled five states in sales. We had a small farm in Reelsville, In. After the last one left home, we moved into Greencastle where we both are Associate Brokers with American Realty and enjoy being "the spouses selling houses"! We have traveled all over the U.S. and have been to Italy, Hawaii, Mexico. My life has been very full and I feel, very blessed also.My one regret is that I did not get to know my classmates very well while I was in high school and kept pretty much to my self.
