Deborah's Story
I was the one who took your pictures and put them in the yearbook. I played tennis and hung out in the ROTC shack.
I was taken with the comraderie and closeness of both sexes. I wanted to be part of that and in a way, I was and wasn't.
I always said I'd never be like my mom...well..it happened. I am my mothers daughter. Made a lot of mistakes in my past, but mistakes are a part of learning and now, after all these years..I think I might have grown up (and in some cases out). I grew to know I wanted a way out of my moms house sooner than I should have left. 1st mistake.
2nd mistake, I married one of my sweethearts from school and if you know me, you know who I married. Stayed married for about 3-4 years. Moved to CA, San Diego area and stayed did some woman...Expand for more
izing, crying, trying to do the right thing. So much for CA.
Moved back to Houston, got divorced, got a great job in a oil and gas co, downtown. More partying, learned C&W dancing and drinking booze, not beer. mistake 3. At the time I had a partner in crime/ Martha Rodriguez and Carla Roberts..the guys..too many to list.
Long story short, stayed in Houston after traveling almost around the world with the wrong person. I have twin daughters who I think are perfect. They are everything I am not. I am a grandmother of 3 wonderful babies because of them. I would do anything for any of them. Anyway, I've been successfully married for 7 + years. We live in Katy, TX. and we are happy. My one priorty in life right now is to keep my brothers murderer in prison.
