Deborah's Story
I attended Glenville and graduated in June 1972. I am currently divorced and have one daughter who turns 28 years old this year. I also have two grandchildren who I adore. I am completing my 30th year as an elementary teacher, and I enjoy reading, attending plays, traveling, spending time with love ones, and taking long walks when weather permits. Would like to know about our alumini ball this year. I did attend our 30th and 35th class reunion. Had a great time!
I will always remember the good times I had in high school. Those were some of my best years. Valeria, Muriel, Kay and Randa were some of my running buddies. nd just have fun. Boy, those were the days. You don't know how uncomplicated your life is until you are passed that time.
I believe some of the teachers at Glenville inspired me to become an educator. I graduated from Cleveland State University. Later, received my Master's degree from Cambridge College in Boston, Masschusetts.
Although things have changed, I have found my career to be rewarding. I am thinking of retiring and perhaps beginning a new career.
Glenville was one of the best public high schools in Cleveland. There were good teachers and great counselors. I remember Miss Beasley, who was instrumental in helping me apply for college. I wonder what became of her.
