Deborah's Story

Life I have moved to the OBX this past summer. I have also started back to school full time and am having a great time. I am still single, after my husband Kenny died in 2000, but now I am with Bobby Richer (my "childhood sweetheat"). My kids are grown. Not a bad place to be, by any standards. e ready September 2005. That way we will be on the water at whichever house we are at. School Kenny Hodges was my greatest crush at PAHS, for a while. No teachers inspired me, as I was not prepared to be inspired by academics at the time. It amazes me that I maintain a 4.0 average in college after doing just enough to get by in high school. One memory was of being caught and literally carried (physically) to the auto shop class each day when I was supposed to be in Algebra. Subsequently, I was late to that class each day, and failed because of it. I have hated (and still hate) algebra ever since. Workplace I retired when Kenny was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2000. Now I am a full-time student again.
