Deborah's Story
I know it would surprise absolutely no one that I spent 28 years teaching English to both junior high and high school kids, and that I now train teachers in RISD in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area; I was just geeky enough in the high school English classroom to clue everybody in to my future career. I am happily married for 25 years to a good, quality man named Dan and have two miracle twin boys who are now in college (finally!). If you do the math, you will see I was a late bloomer, another thing that will surprise no one who knew me. eally began. I should write a book, but I much prefer telling my stories in person so that I can see the reactions on the faces of my audiences! I like to tell my kids I'm a raconteur and see their faces cloud over. Great word, great life! God has been good to me and continues to surprise me every day. (The reference to God in my story will surprise no one who knew me in high school, either!) My family and I live in Dallas, very close, as ever, to my mom, Kathryn and James. For those of you who remember David, we lost him in 2005 of a heart attack. I still haven't learned to use this program effectively, but I would love to hear from old friends! Deborah
