Deborah's Story
After graduating from Greencastle I went to Shanendoah Conservatory of Music to study Voice and Piano. I did not graduate but married Eugene Ebersole and we set up housekeeping in Hagerstown. We moved to Smithsburg where Gene was Teacher, Coach and Atheletic Director. We had four children Noel, Gretchen, Megan and Nathan. In April 1992 I married Rev Edward Heydt and moved to Owings, MD. He had three children Troy, Terra and Tricia.
In July 1996 we moved to Havre de Grace, MD and I played the organ and directed choirs as Director of Music at Havre de Grace United Methodist Church. My husband has retired but I am still working.
I addition we are raising, breeding and showing Havanese dogs. We currently have two AKC champions.
