Deborahs's Story

I am retired since 2006 from working in the environmental education field. Still married to my college sweetheart since 1974 - the man is a saint to put up with me this long. He retired in 2018 from his job as president of the University of TN System, and we’ve moved back to Champaign-Urbana, IL. We have 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Both of our daughters and all of the grandchildren live in Urbana and Oak...Expand for more
Park. Our unmarried son lives in the north Georgia mountains, where we had a cabin for 15 years. I'm a quilter and make mostly bright contemporary quilts. I spend a lot of time training my dogs, two Australian shepherds and an Australian cattle dog, and teaching obedience classes at the local dog training club. We compete in obedience, rally, and scent work. I'm active on Facebook as Deb S Brown DiPietro.
