Recently, I was asked to write an article for an author, whom I have come to do much bonding with as we are both guide dog handlers. I wrote an article on Access, regarding working dogs. The article sums up alot of what I have been doing, for many years now. In July I will be writing the Introduction to the next book, my guide, Sheena and I, are in, "A Gift of Puppies". It has been an honor being in "A Gift of Dogs" and "Steady Hedy", both written by Carolyn Wing Greenlee. I will see how to insert that on Classmates if that is possible. I would like to ask if anyone that would like to write me, if they could do so on my personal email. Being visionally impaired makes it difficult to view all the areas on Classmates. Hopefully, I can reach someone on that site that can make some easier arrangements for me. Surely I must not be the only blind person on this hugh site of Classmates. But, surely I am missing out on some enjoyable opportunities due to the fact I do not see them. Would love to hear from you, my fellow classmates., This past June, my husband shot himself, or so it was stated. Yet, I have filed charges against his care giver for wrongful death. I have spent the months since then, learning all about Probate and being an Executor, etc., etc. Within the next few days, just before the Reunion, I will be meeting the Marshall at my house in Apple Valley, which my husband had Willed to me. I need to go there with the Marshall to take possession of the house while the care giver is personally removed, that's the best part. But then, I will have to enter the house to change the locks and that is when I am not really certain how I will react to the whole 'memory'. But, I keep telling myself that I have the Reunion to look forward to. I need to get my ticket and am not really sure where to go...Expand for more
