Debra's Story
Hello. I came to Kenova at age 11. Both sides of my family go way back there. I lived with my grandmother and sister Becky in Park Circle for a few years. I left CK after 10th grade to begin my journey. I had had quite enough of the assistant principle by then. (I can't remember the guy's name, much less the reason for my worldly decision). I went to cosmetology school, had a baby and lived in Huntingt...Expand for more
on for a couple of years. I then moved to Fort Lauderdale and have been here for the past 32 years. Cosmetology lead me to nursing, and I have been doing that for the past 24 years. Pediatric ICU for those who may wonder. In the tweens, I love to enjoy my home and yard, my pets (who are excellent traveling and camping buds), crosswording and reading. Well, that's my story.
