Debra's Story
Life
I live on a 40acre Farm NW of Sweetser.
I was married for 13.5yrs when my husband passed away July 3,2000 of cancer. We didn't have any children. Instead,i have two dogs whom give me plenty of comfort. I enjoy photography. I also enjoy visiting with former classmates. I enjoy gardening,crosstitching making jewelry and other crafts,and watching movies at the Theatre or DVD's in my Theatre room.
Workplace
I own a 40 acre farm with 35 acres tillable. A friend plants and harvests the crops for me. Since leaving work in November of 1994 after working as a Qualified Medicine Aide. I had worked at Bradner from 1974 to 1981, then moved back from Florida and worked from 1983-1994.I am able to work in either the flower or vegitable garden beds. Do i miss work? My time is spent with my two dogs and four parakeets. I also enjoy shopping in Kokomo or Wabash. Also spending time with my sister Kay and my Dad her doing chores.
I enjoy meeting my former Classmate Carol Threet Prochnaw for Blondes at Applebee's and a Movie.
Since June of 2007, both Molly and Hobo have passed away. I now have two kittens. Simba is a orange tabby with orange eyes and Sasha is a Siamese kitten who has been in hiding for a week. She will come out and then if I spot her in the living room or Simba,she bolts back into the hall bedroom and hides where Simba can't reach her. I am enjoying spending time with my Dad and helping him since my Mother passed away Jan. 2007. Also, I enjoy time spent with siblings and keeping in contact with former classmates.
