UPDATE 2012 - Not much snow, but Kevin and Louise (Crawford and Chiatovich) are coming to visit this weekend (from Santa Cruz) to ski. We're hoping to get in at least 1/2 day before it turns to slush. I'm excited!
I still negotiate and arrange home loans, working for American Pacific Mortgage for the past 12 years. The new HARP 2.0 underwater refinance is supposed to be available starting March 17th. We don't know the rates yet, but rumor is they'll be pretty close to market. Alisa will graduate from McGeorge in May, and has an internship now at the Capitol so is becoming very interested in politics. She now plans to get her masters in political science at Sac State next year. Bre has changed her major to international business, but will still minor in environmental science. She's bummed about the lack of snow, too!
I forgot to mention, I have two dogs - a chihuahua/doxie mix and a rat terrier (who lives up to his name out here in the boonies) and an orange tabby cat named Honey. She had a brother, Jasper, who hunted and killed anything that moved on the hill that serves as our backyard, but he disappeared a few months back and we think the coyotes got him.....

Update: Breanna is almost 19 and just finished her freshman year at UNR. Alisa is now 24 and just finished her 2nd year at McGeorge. We just moved all her stuff home from her midtown flat as she will be in Central America and Europe for the summer, attending summer school and traveling. Breanna will join her for a tour of Portugal, Spain, Germany, Czechoslovakia and England. What fun! Wish I could go too!

r second year at McGeorge. Breanna, now 18, graduated from Ponderosa High in Shingle Springs. She just finished her freshman year at UNR - University of Nevada Reno, and is majoring in Environmental Science. Al works for DOJ, and I have been a mortgage lender for 31 years. I love to ski, read, travel, spend time at my folks' cabin, watch football and soccer, raise orchids, and hang out with my family and friends. And I love connecting with old friends! So give me a holler ;-)
UPDATE AUGUST 2016 - Alisa just married a wonderful young man she met 6 years ago while attending an international law class in Guatemala. He is from Costa Rica, and we just spent a week in Hawaii with his family, getting to know them. We had a great time! Alisa just accepted a position with Mercedes in Sacramento doing some law, policy, and lobbying. She's excited to start when she gets back from Maui. In her 'spare' time she plays on 4 soccer teams and helps coach a young girl's team. She and her new hubby are soccer fanatics! He also plays on 4 teams! Bree works for Lawrence Welk Resorts at Northstar and lives in Truckee in a darling little house overlooking Donner Lake. She loves the mountains and hiking and snowboarding, but after our trip to Hawaii she is starting to think she might like living at the beach for awhile. I still manage a branch for American Pacific Mortgage and help my clients, friends and family finance residential real estate. I've been with APM, an equal opportunity lender, for 17 years and love what I do! I still love my orchids, my dogs, and spending time in or on the water, and I still get my ski pass to Northstar and Heavenly every year and go as often as I can. My hubby, Al, helps keep DOJ's computer projects on time, and loves to garden and cook. His wonderful garden veggies and gourmet meals are famous in our family.
