Debra's Story
Life
I still have my parrot, TwoBee and I have a parakeet, Charlie. I also have a black angora cat named Salem. (what else?) Nothing much new here, I live a pretty uneventful life. Oh,except that I just totaled my F150 a few days ago! No injuries, TG. "She" kept me safe and sound.
My "baby", Salem, passed over the Rainbow Bridge this past Nov.'08. I miss that cat so much. He was my baby. 'Til we meet again, Momma's boy. I love you.
Workplace

I have lost my job of 16 yrs,and my husband was there 36 ...Expand for more
yrs! Isn't this the American way now?
I am working for McDonald's now! Had to go get a little part time job to help with the bills. It was costing my husband almost a hundred bucks a week just to go back and forth to work! So I got me a job without telling him I was going to! I surprised him with my announcement that I had gotten a p/t job. Needless to say he was very happy with me. He was on death's doorstep a couple of years ago and he kept working right up until it was time for his chemo to begin, so I want to help him with our life now too.
My baby boy, Salem passed this November and my heart was broken. I haven't had a dog in over 30 years when I was young and strong so I could handle my husky. I downsized a couple of weeks ago and adopted my Mickey, an American Eskimo dog. He's 8 years old but acts like a puppy! He has helped heal my heart.
