Debra's Story
After Dixon High I atttended UC Berkeley. Went to anti-war demonstrations. Got tear-gassed, the whole Berkeley experience. After I graduated from Cal I got my teaching credential at CSU Sacramento. I headed south for my first teaching job at the American School in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Met a cute Peace Corps volunteer (Steve Cannon) from Berkeley and we were married at Tegucigalpa's...Expand for more
City Hall in 1978. We have 2 beautiful, intelligent, and talented daughters. Emily (27) is also a Cal graduate, currently living in New York City, trying to get a break on Broadway. Bonnie (22) will graduate from UC Santa Cruz in June. Steve is a forester and I am an elementary school teacher, currently teaching in Lodi. We live in Pine Grove, about an hour southeast of Sacramento.
