Debra's Story
After graduation, worked for Moira Secondary School, in the office, until leaving for a job at Ontario Hydro in May of 1971. Same month, married my high school sweetheart, Jim. We had a wonderful life together, and raised two wonderful children, John and Sarah, until one month before our 30th wedding anniversary, we lost Jim to cancer on April 1st, 2001. Have coped with many changes since.
But our children have made us very proud, John has his own company (electrical) and Sarah is an elementary school teacher. I have a wonderful daughter-in-law named Hollie (Moise), and a soon to be (I hope) son-in-l...Expand for more
aw named John (Rhode). Life is good! And now I am blessed with two wonderful grandchildren, both boys, and both namesakes to their grandfather. He would have been so proud!
After Hydro moved out of Belleville, I accepted a job with a real estate appraisal company as an Office Manager (yes - still in the secretarial field), and am still with the same firm.
Still residing on Point Anne Lane, but new house. Unfortunately got it the hard way. Lightning struck my home on Mother's Day in 2003, and unfortunately lost everything. Have re-built, and started all over. I guess thats what life is all about!
