Debra's Story
Life
After graduation, I attended the University of Denver and sailed around the world in my junior year. Graduated and attended Pepperdine University School of Law on scholarship. Met a wonderful man my first year and married him my third year. We both graduated from law school in 1980. We had our daughter, Natalie, in 1981, and our son, John, in 1985. Natalie has since graduated from Berkeley and is a teacher as well as an author of historical romances. John is in his senior year and is on varsity basketball and varsity volleyball. Michael and I celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary in November. We live in a suburb of Los Angeles (Woodland Hills) and my husband and I have a law firm with offices in Los Angeles and Long Beach. We work too hard and I have my own art studio so that I can relax and do what I enjoy in my spare...Expand for more
time. I love to do stained glass windows, decorate and landscape. My family time is so very important to me and I love seeing my high school friends. Judy Hoffman (Williams) and Connie Jenkins (Sharp) and I have traveled together on several trips and we have laughed until we wet our pants. I came back to Colorado to watch Connie's son graduate from the Air Force academy and then marry Becky Hardy's daughter (Rike--remember Becky Rike---she moved before after Junior High and was Connie's best friend). Nothing is funnier than old friends and nothing could be more precious. I exchange letters with Barb Behl (Gerome), Patti Willis (Everson) and Celeste Douglas. My parents, Bert and Christine, are retired and now live in Laughlin, Nevada and I am hoping they will move to California soon. I can't wait until the reunion. Love to all,
