Debra's Story
Been back home in Denver since '81 (from OH, SD, NM, NV, AZ and TX) Happily married for 20-some years to a Creeker, Class of '81, whose family's been here since Colorado Territory like mine. Just got my 5th grandchild. Two of them will be going to ole Bradley School this year, just like Nana. I dont weigh 90 pounds anymore (I know, you all knew that would happen someday).
Still talk to old boyfriend, Steve Mc. on occasion, and greatly miss my late best friends David Assafi and Tina Lemmon. See David Rolfe a lot; he and my hubby, Michael, belong to the same Masonic Lodge. And I recently spoke to Selma (she went by Ramatu Al-Hassan at TJ when she was an exchange stud...Expand for more
ent from Ghana); she's living in Philadelphia,where I'm hoping to see her when I visit my daughter out there later this year.
Other than that, I'm still pretty much a loner, my nose in a book all the time, mostly history. Do a lot of genealogy, but been doing that since I was 15 (13 Mayflower ancestors, too!) A staunch Libertarian who's stuck behind a computer all day programming phone systems for one of those big corporations I swore I'd never work for. But we do get to travel some, mostly northern East Coast, rural New Brunswick to NY and Maryland, but I'll always love Maine the best...planning on maybe going back to the UK next year. But for now, home's the best.
