Debra's Story

Life I am a high school AP/IB English teacher in Florida (think Betty Wilkerson- she's always been my role model). Moved around through several states with my ex over the years, but once I got to Florida I decided to stay. Hey, someone's got to live in near perfect weather all the time. I have two sons, 28 and 26, both of whom live in Florida too. One, the younger, is an engineer, the other is still 'finding' himself. Also have 2 basset hounds and one cattle dog mix, all of whom think they are lapdogs and prefer indoors to outside, but that might be my fault. Love motorcycles & go to Bike Week in Daytona each year. Have my own license, but prefer to ...Expand for more
ride on the back and enjoy the scenery. Don't come home as often as I should, but I still consider K-town my home, and myself more of a mountain girl. Can't believe how much everything has grown every time I do make it back, but it still a beautiful place. I would love to hear from the graduates of 69-70-71. My students over the past XXX years just love looking at all us in my old dance pictures and the yearbooks. They all believe I had one heck of a good time in high school, and they are right, I loved those years. I made the first reunion, seems like centuries ago, but missed the next one. Has anyone heard of plans for a another reunion? debbie
