Debra's Story
Well. I never thought I would do this! And, I'm hoping to connect with some old friends, and some funny stories.
Here is a quick life story:
- went to Albion College graduated in 76
- went to U of M, didn't finish
- meet a guy and went to Venezuela for a year and 1/2
- came back to Detroit, worked for Chrysler, than Michigan Opera
- got a great opportunity as director of marketing for Opera Pacific (located in Orange County CA)
- left Detroit, and live in Orange County still
- meet first husband, had a daughter Nicole now 21 years old,
- got job as Marketing Manager for Chrysler CA
- worked for Carlson Marketing Group in CA, client Mazda
- got divorced
- worked for Sandy Corp, client Toyota
- got remarried to Tom Beck, Civil Rights lawyer, still happily married
- became the VP of direct marketing for McCann-Erickson, client Nestle

WE love to travel, last summer we were in Prague, down the Danube to Budapest than on to Poland.
I always wanted to be a a comedian/actress when I grew up. My family and friends thought that I was a lawyer/politician. As it turns out, I married the lawyer, who is active politically and write short plays and short stories that are pretty funny..
I'd love to chat with old friends from High School and St. Tims.
In 10 years i hope to be renting my home in CA, living in a cottage in a small village in Tuscany or the south of France, cooking for friends and neighbors - shopping for meat and vegetables in little markets - drinking great wine! Walking everywhere.
