Debra's Story
Life
Married for 38 years to Bruce Wolcott. We have 2 daughters younger one turning 35 in June and the older one 36. . (They are both through college and married with children).. Both girls and their hubsands live in Stillwater, OK which is about 3 hours from our ranch. We have 5 grandchildren. Our ranch is named BOUNTIFUL. We raise Angus cattle.
My husband's job had us moving every year to three years for about 18 years, which was a lot fun and glad I had the opportunity to see other countries and ways of life. We were able to live oversees for 7 years which was neat. We lived a few times in IL , Utah (where we had our girls) and Kentucky. Finally when our girls got to high school age (we homeschooled them) we decided to settle and he took a permanent position here in Eastern Oklahoma. (Works with military).
We are now settled in Eastern Oklahoma (hill area) and we bought a cattle ranch (which I run) and having a lots of fun.(I have added ranch pictures, take a look) I love raising a calves to market business, plus started a bluebe...Expand for more
rry u-pick. (I think I'll probably just give all those blueberries away.) I take care of the ranch while my husband still travels with his job. (He retires in 2 years) I also started a soap business which I love to do. I keep busy but live a very rural, isolated type of life and love it. After growing up in Granada Hills who would have ever guess one could give up the malls. That is where on-line shopping helps!
My best friend from high school PAT COSTELLO (Shultz-Masscolo now) visited this last year and cannot believe how different my lifestyle is from hers still in Southern California. We had so much fun that week.
Only my brother Dave Farfalla (class of 71) still lives in Granada Hills and the last time I visited was about 9 years ago. Our parents moved to Northwest Arkansas to a retirement area called Bella Vista which is 4 hours from me. So David visits his parents every few years and I get to see him.
I am thinking of visiting Southern California this year, I bet it has changed a lot. You guys are sure in the news alot too!!!
