Life
I moved to South Carolina in the fall of 1978 & have worked for the SC Budget & Control Board for 22 years & as a State Budget Analyst for the last 10 or 12 years. I spend half the year working with the General Assembly while they do the State's Budget. The rest of the year is spent on normal budget analyst duties as well as taking off all of the comp time I earned during the legislative session. June. My office has a saying during those months: "Don't buy any nonrefundable airline tickets". IÂm single, but spend a lot of time with my family. I have an aunt & cousins here in Columbia; family in Charleston & Mount Pleasant, plus my sister Betty (otherwise known in high school as Betty Lou) lives in Durham, N.C. with her three children. My family has a house on Lake Murray that we spend a lot of time at during the summer. It is a nice life.
