Debra's Story

I went to OSU after high school and graduated with an MBA in business. I hoped to start a pet shop, but ended up working in the transportation industry instead. Maybe not as much fun, but better pay and benefits. I'm currently in the finance department of an international logistics company. I spend my day playing with Excel pivot tables and Hyperion Retrieves - if you don't know what those are, then you're not missing all that much. I moved to California, got married, had 4 kids, and got divorced. A few years ago I met my second husband who is the love of my life. We try to take at least one nice trip each year - so far we've seen Cancun, Hawaii, Cost...Expand for more
a Rica. But living in Southern California is the best! I'm always happy to come home. The kids are all doing great, although my youngest, who is still in high school, is more interested in socializing than studying. The oldest two graduated college and the third will graduate next year. No grandkids yet, but my oldest is getting married. Can you believe we're old enough to be hoping for grandkids??!! I have a few doggies, kitties, and a bunch of guinea pigs. I train my dogs as a hobby and have received a few obedience titles. I go back to Eaton every year to visit with my mother and sisters. The farmlands of Eaton look so beautiful when I return!
