We're all the way up by Mobile Alabama. The nickname for this area is Flora-bama.
It's a military town; lots of bases nearby.
Lots of real 'country' people here, & transplants (like me) from other places like California, midwest & northeast. We have 4 seasons, but winters are milder than most of the country, which I like.
From here, Tallahassee is about 4 hours east, Jacksonville about 8 hours east, Orlando about 10 hours south east, Miami...about 15 hours southeast. We're WAY up northwest on the panhandle of Florida.".
