Debra's Story
I attended Portland Community College for a year after high school where I reconnected with Scott Francis from BHS Class of 68. We were married in 1971 and had two daughters, Alison and Sarah. We were married until 1989. I was single for 6 years when I met my current husband Dave, whom I married in 1995. Dave and I moved to a suburb of Chicago for 6 years, and returned to the Portland area in 2003. We currently live in Vancouver. I have a stepdaughter and stepson and we now have 5 grandchildren. back to working full time 6 months ago. I'm an avid knitter, currently working on getting certified as a Master Knitter. I also teach knitting and knit samples for a shop in Portland. I still love music and reading. Dave and I are looking forward to retiring so we can travel. I hope we can somehow have a 40th reunion in 2009. My hair has been white since I was 34, but maybe I'll have company by the time we meet again. We all miss Sam Sundby and the energy he put into making all our reunions successful.
