Debra's Story
Life
Graduated with an MS in edcation. But due to heart problems and bad knees, having to re-evaluate and make some changes.
Four children, oldest died at age nine of leukemia, the rest are well and on their own (well baby girl is still in college and looking atvet school).
Lost my soulmate and the center of my life back in 1996 while we were stationed in Panama (oh yeah, wouldn't you know I would marry a lifer, air force!) I feel pretty lost without him still. 10 y...Expand for more
ears and it seems like only yesterday strangers on the street were stopping us to ask our secret to happiness. I can't remember one day of sadness in all the years we were together.
Breast cancer survivor also. I'm out in California working part-time for a private doctor. I'm thinking of going home to Florida where my dad is still alive and living. Seems lots of things are more important as a grow older.
I still own poodles, have two - a standard and a toy poodle.
