Debra Strahle:  

Life Life has been good. I left Whittier in 1978 moving to the Portland, Oregon area where I raised 3 children. In 1990 I started a new adventure in my life as a single mom. I moved to Vancouver, WA where I met my current husband. We have lived in Washington state where we started out and then moved to Downingtown, Pennsylvania for 6 years. Moved back to Whittier in 2004 to take care of my Dad who was dying of cancer. We moved in with my Dad and our grandson was born several months later. We had 4 generations living under 1 roof. It really lifted my Dad's spirit. Dad died in October of that year and in the Spring we closed up his estate and moved back to Washington state this time settling in Langley on Whidbey Island where we have 5 acres and hope to build our retirement home sometime in the near future.
