Dede's Story

Life I have lived in the Orlando/Winter Park area since 1957. For the past 27 years I have lived in Audubon Park. I love that it is close to work, the airport, and my family. After working at the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute for 14 years, my position was eliminated I am currently working at the Florida Hospital Diabetes & Endocrine Center as a Patient Care Coordinator/receptionist. My life changed drastically on August 7, 2004, when I met the love of my life on Match.com! Ken came into my life at a time when I needed him most. My Dad had Alzheimer's and his health was declining. We were married on December 18, 2004 - just 4 months later! Dad passed away in March of 2005. I wished they had gotten to spend more time together....both have/had a twinkle in their eye. This year we celebrate 12 years of marriage. What a great life! K...Expand for more
en was a self-employed TV and video producer for many years. 4 1/2 years ago he decided to take a position with PSAV, an Audio/Visual company based out of Texas. He is a Senior Project Manager and loves his work. We love to travel. We particularly love going to the family cabin in the Boone, NC area and to lighthouses anywhere . We love photography, history, and love to singing together. He is a very talented drummer and plays piano and guitar as well. We are active in the Florida Lighthouse Association and are interested in the preservation of the 30 remaining lighthouses that line the 1,200 mile coastline of Florida. I am writing this in hopes of reconnecting with some old friends from Maitland Jr. High, Winter Park High, the Highlands School, and Lake Highland Prep... and in the process, hope to make some new friends along the way.
