Dede's Story
Life
Right after graduation I got married to Ken Wells(1976). We moved to El Paso Texas where he was in the Army. There I had the first of my four children. In 1979 we moved back to Cincinnati and lived in Greenhills where I had three more children (only one son). I did the mom thing, I was a room mother in school, volunteered alot and was a girl scout leader and cookie mom. All of my kids are all grown. They all graduated from Winton Woods. I now have 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandkids.

out to be a bad year for me. My mother passed away in January and my husband of 41 years, Ken passed of a heart attack just 10 days later. Life
throws you alot of curveballs once in a while. All we can do is our best to handle one "Oh my f...ing God at a time."
Since Ken passed I have moved back to Forest Park. I inherited my parents home.
May 1, 2020 my oldest daughter, Janet (Winton Woods class of 1996) lost her battle with metastatic breast cancer. She fought long (6 years) and hard all the way through.
