Life I am married (1984), have two grown daughters and six grandchildren. I am raising my two oldest grandchildren and find that I am getting a little old for this stuff. I had to close my home birth practice and am now working in a Community Health Center in Kansas City, MO, providing Women's Health care to a very diverse population. I am told that KCMO is one of the most diverse cities in the States. About 75-80% is Spanish speaking, the rest are Somali, Swahilli (?), Kenyan, Liberian, Creole, Haitian (?), Bosian, Serb, Burmese, Indian. Some days we have no English speaking patients at all, lol. My big diversion has been working on the McClellan Alumni activities. About 5 years ago, the Crimson Lion Alumni Association was formed to include ALL alumni from Mabelvale, McClellan and McClellan Magnet. It also is a wonderfully diverse group. We are a service organization and have been providing scholarships for a graduating senior. If we have more involvement, we can offer a larger scholarship, which is our goal! I have been working on collecting email addresses and contact information of alumni and now have over 17,000 names entered. I do want ANY information...Expand for more
