Deena's Story

Life Let's see, since high school I lived in Australia as an exchange student. Went back to school and became a hairdresser. Got married briefly in my 20's. In 2000 I moved to Amelia Island Florida where my little brother and mother have resided for 17yrs.. Started all over in my career and have since opened my own small salon inside the Days Inn Hotel across from the beach. I also bought a home - not knowing what all goes with that - but I enjoy it terribly. Always thought I would like yard work - turns out I do. I have a 14yr.old Westie named Hig...Expand for more
hlander who has been a great companion. He's a wonderful traveler as we've been burning up the roads for quite some time. Unfortunately, when we get back home it is usually to Owensboro,KY. as that is where most of my family live. I have been a step-parent to several awesome young people whom I'm still very close to but haven't had my own children. All in all I am very blessed and excited to see what the next twenty years has in store. Update: I finally met my husband 9/08. We had a beautiful wedding in Savannah, GA. and have been terribly happy.
