Deidra's Story
Hi everyone !
Well catching up with Morgan Brown for dinner in DC this past month, a red flag went up with me, realizing that 27 years is just WAYYYY too long to be out of touch with people.
However, the way I look at it, it may have been many, many years since we've talked or even seen those we graduated with, but we are all still very young at heart.
The other thing I can state, as a mother of 3 teenage daughters, surely the way Becky, Janette and I acted back in the early 80's by no means matches how my girls act today with their friends. However, if in fact we did, do me a favor, don't share with my teens as I've successfully brainwashed them that I studied all the time, walked three miles to and from the bus stop and NEVER ever talked back to my parents !

arting NY in the early 80's I found a new home in Charlotte, NC where I eventually married and had three wonderful girls. Somewhere along the way I "southernized" myself and I confess that half of my family loves oatmeal while the other half enjoys grits !
I am a Regional Manager for a Fortune 50 company, overseeing contract negotiation efforts throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. Although my travels and business dealings have allowed me to meet many interesting people along the way, I often find myself coming back in thought to those I spent my early years with in Belmont.
So, in closing, I'll throw out there that if you ever find your travel plans passing you through the area or visiting the Carolinas, look me up. Would love to hear what ya'll have been upto since 81.
